Brian Costello Sr.

An avid runner/hiker and CrossFit masters athlete, Brian is CrossFit Level 1 certified and has been a volunteer coach for the Rolling Thunder Special Needs running club for almost 20 years. With one of Brian’s 5 children being on the Autism spectrum, he understands the unique challenges that these athletes face on a daily basis. He is committed to providing a fun, supportive, and positive environment that promotes health, fitness, confidence, and community.

Brian Costello

After receiving his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physical Education from Cortland University, Brian furthered his passion for health by completing multiple CrossFit training courses, including Level 3 certification, movement and ability, and running and endurance. In 2010 he opened his own CrossFit gym, where he implemented one of the very first special needs CrossFit programs. He has competed at high levels in CrossFit and with the Smith Point National Lifeguard team, where he was a 5-time national chamption and earned a spot as captain of team United States.
